You might all know that right now in India, #boycottchineseproducts hashtag is still trending, and the Govt. is also taking action to support Indian makers as much as they could. It has allowed Indian brands to compete with Chinese brands and regain the market share in their favor. In all this competition and controversy, Indian mobile maker, LAVA International Limited is taking on every Chinese smartphone brand all alone.
A couple of weeks ago, LAVA launched a program in which it asked the Indian youth to share their ideas regarding futuristic smartphones for the community. The company also announced certain rewards for the selected blueprints during the competition. The goal was to consider people’s views on what type of smartphone they require and what kind of features a smartphone should have.

As already mentioned, it’s an Indian origin brand. It will be interesting to see how LAVA will perform against the Chinese smartphone giants like Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, RealMe, etc.. Indian Government has already put heavy-duty taxes on good coming from China. It’s going to help Indian brands to open their portfolio further. Lava Z66 is an affordable smartphone offering plenty of features that a budget smartphone should possess. We hope other Indian smartphone brands will also reveal their cards in the coming months.
